Hey, I’m Luke Schrowang, a photographer based in Summerville, South Carolina and the eye behind LS Photography. My journey into photography was sparked by a love for creativity and adventure, inspired by my grandfather who encouraged me before his passing in 2024. Whether I’m out exploring new places or working in a quiet studio, I’m always chasing that feeling of getting a shot just right, it’s what keeps me going.

I earned my associate's degree in photography from Trident Technical College, and while I respect the classics, I’ve always preferred to carve my own path creatively. My style isn’t tied to one look. I enjoy working across different genres, from bold portraits and live events to carefully composed culinary work and timeless film photography.

Film, especially, is close to my heart. Developing prints in the darkroom is more than just a process, it’s a moment of peace and reflection for me. Photography has become a way to express what I couldn’t growing up, offering the freedom to explore and create without limits.

When I’m not behind the camera, I serve on the tech team at Seacoast Church in Summerville. My dream? To one day travel the world as a wildlife photographer for National Geographic. Until then, I’m here to tell meaningful stories, one frame at a time.
